The Nong Lam University (NLU), Ho Chi Minh City and the University of South-East Asia (USEA) hereby establish a formal cooperation and friendship between the two institutions, and agree to cooperate with each other in teaching, training, research and other agreed activities that further the aims and objectives of the Institutions agree as follows:

Contents of cooperation

Subject to mutual consent, the areas of cooperation will include any program offered at either institution as felt desirable and feasible on either side and that both sides feel contribute to the fostering and development of the cooperative relationship between the two universities. Cooperation shall be carried out through such activities as:
1. Exchange of staff and/or students
2. Joint research activities and publications
3. Participation in seminars and academic meetings
4. Exchange of academic materials and other information
5. Special short-term and academic programs
6. Joint research projects
The terms of cooperation for each specific activity implemented under this Memorandum of Understanding shall be mutually discussed and agreed upon in writing by both parties prior to the initiation of that activity.

Renewal, Termination and Amendment

This Memorandum of Understanding will remain valid for a period of five (5) years from the date of the last signature, with the understanding that it may be terminated by the appropriate authorities of either party giving six months notice to the other party in writing. The Memorandum of Understanding may be amended or extended by mutual consent of the two parties.
